YouTube has now launched a new app for android named YouTube Go. This is a specific app launched, as if of now only in India and YouTube claims that by using this app you can significantly save your data and you can share the videos that you download via YouTube Go app to your friends. So the best part about this app is that it’s a very small app, just 6.8MB in size and it can be used on android phone running android version 4.1

It looks like a very basic version of YouTube app, having only two columns in it, one is for your feeds and other is for your saved videos. When you will try to play videos on YouTube Go app you, a new box will be popped out showing slideshow of the video giving you a rough idea about the video and asking if wanna save it or play it online in basic quality or standard quality. Basic quality of video is about in 140p and standard quality is in about 480p. You can select it on your own.

Apart from this new download feature you can now also share those downloaded videos to your friends directly from YouTube Go app.This sharing feature is just alike the other content sharing apps.
