Facebook is trending now and it has launched the new product called the campus. It is mainly designed for the students of the college. There are certain features of it such as to personalize the experience student to interact with schools peers.
They can have Campus-only news feeds, they can create the group and join the group, events, group chat rooms named as “campus-chats.”Along with this it has one more feature where you can find your friend or other students. This is “campus-directory” feature.
To access the campus, student must have to use their “.edu” email address along with the year of the graduation. In the campus, a student can create their profile specific to their sections.
Some of the things students can alter such as classes, major, minor, hometown and many more information. There would be a separate profile because some of the students may don’t want to share all the specific information to the public profile.
It is not compulsory to give all the info such as cover photo, profile photo, graduation year and many more. These are optional, you can feel it as per your choice.
For now, facebook’s campus will be available to the 30 universities of the US. It may further expand in future to make progress.

Some settings of the Facebook and campus may relay to each other. such as if you have blocked someone in your Facebook then that person will block on campus too. Alumni students can be the part of it. However here notifications plays the great role, if facebook suggest that if the platform is not relevant then they can leave the campus.
In April Jane Manchun Wong- Reverse engineering expert twitted that currently this campus platform is under testing. Let’s see it below:
