Apple has strict rules to prevent the software that is malicious. Almost all the apps in its app store are safe to use. But last year, Apple has an uncompromising approach to submit the security checks of all the applications by its developers.
There is one approach called Notarization scan the application for its security issues and malicious content. If an application gets approved from this process, then in-built security of Mac keep screening the software. If any application failed, then running of the software will be blocked and deny the test.
According to the security researcher, first mac malware is notarized by the apple! Yea, a well-known security researcher of Patrick Wardle, has found the malicious campaign as the “Adobe Flash installer.”
Flash is now rarely used by people, but if it contains malicious content, then it would be stopped by the Apple by Unnotarizing it. It means whenever we open it; it should be blocked by Mac. But Wardle has found that Malicious flash code has given the notarization by the apple and runs on macs.

About Security of Apple by Wardle
Wardle also confirmed that it is the most common threat that Mac faced in 2019 and it is approved by the widespread Shlayer malware. Shlayer may intercept encrypted web traffic or with the Https enables sites, and then replace the web results with the own ads- to make more money using it.
Apple doesn’t detect any malicious data while it is on the process of Notarization. And as a result after submission it approved them.
It has been said that Apple may have mistakenly approved the malware that runs on Macs. After all of this investigation, Apple revoked the payload of notarization.
It is also possible that attackers may again try to attack the security of Mac and runs on users PC. But Apple has confirmed that they have blocked all the payloads and also will focus fore more security. So for now, we are assured of the security of any application.
