Apple apologize to the WordPress
Recently Apple apologized to the WordPress and said it wouldn’t force the free apps to add the In-purchase. Earlier, Apple has convinced to WordPress for monetize its free apps, which states that they have to sell premium plans and its domain name so that apple can make 30% of cut!
But now Apple has taken setback and issues the rare-on-record apology, which clearly says that WordPress is all free and not supposed to add any In-purchase to the applications.

We believe the issue with the WordPress app is resolved. Since the developer removed the display of their service payment options from the app, it is now a free stand-alone app and does not have to offer in-app purchases. We have informed the developer and apologize for any confusion that we have caused.
Morever on this WordPress founder, Mullenweg tweeted and said that we don need to implement the In-app purchase. Below you can see the information;
I am very grateful that folks at Apple re-reviewed @WordPressiOS and have let us know we do not need to implement in-app purchases to be able to continue to update the app. Bad news travels faster than good, usually, so please consider sharing that they reversed course.

whereas Mullenweg has not clearly stated that whether WordPress has removed, it’s premium plans display. According to various resources, the app shows no payment options. Due to this, it may be possible that WordPress has removed the references of premium services a week ago!
